Organizing During the Black Freedom Movement of the 1960’s
This group will meet 3 times and watch selections from films about this period, with an emphasis on learning about the organizing and base building that occurred then.  Some reading included and connections to organizing for today.

Anything else to know?: Each time we meet, we'll spend about an hour watching an episode of Race: The Power of an Illusion, then discuss the connection to public health and health care. We'll also be reading and discussing articles related to health and racial justice.
